COTABATO CITY – Two police officers were killed in a shootout with drug suspects in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Barangay Crossing Simuay in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte before noon Friday. Lt. Col. Jopy Ventura, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PRO-BARMM), identified the slain police officers as Corporal Kirt Siin and Patrolwoman Roselyn Bulias, both of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG).
